Reimbursement WDA Application Error
worklfow is not gettig activated
we have developed one custom workflow. When we do check, there is no errors in workflow. But when we are trying to activate it's not getting activated.
It's always shows the status New, Saved
And when I re-open the workflow it's always shows message 'you are not editing the active version'
All SWU3 settings are fine. I check some thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1522549 , but it's not helped to resolve this.
RPTARQLIST: How are customer fields used?
Dear gurus,
Report RPTARQLIST (Leave Requests: Check) displays customer fields.
What is the use of these fields?
Where are these fields defined?

MSS Dynamic Menu based on PA condition
Hi all,
Just a quick question regarding the MSS Dynamic MENU. Is it possible to restrict the MENU based on configuration? If not which BADI can I use to restrict the MENU. Basically I would like to say that if the employee belongs to Time Adminstrator XXX then display time statement otherwise dont.
It is a simple request but I dont know where to code this or custimse it.
I have read different thread but they are all talking about proxy class and I am not familiar with these proxy classes.

Course/Training Booking in ESS/MSS Team Calendar
Hi Experts,
We just installed Learning Solutions (LSO 617) in DEV client and part of our client requirement is booking of employees to courses/seminars.We utilized the standard configurations without any enhancements (or just the default enhancements included in the installation).
However, we also have ESS/MSS (UI5) and employees who are already booked for different seminars/training can be seen in the team calendar of both ESS and MSS. Each employee can see in their team calendar the trainings of their team members.
Now for my question, is it possible to hide these entries in the ESS/MSS team calendar? This should also include the employee's own booked trainings/courses. Is there an enhancement that we need to activate/deactivate? Or is there a switch which can remove the integration of LSO with the ESS/MSS team calendar?
Any of your inputs would be great. Thanks in advance!

SAP Travel Expenses (Webdynpro ABAP) in Chinese
Hi all,
We have the requirement to provide SAP Travel Expenses via Self Services (Webdynpro ABAP) in simplified and traditional Chinese. The language packs are installed in the back end system. In PR05 in the back end, most of the text in the screens are Chinese now.
However, in the front end (SAP portal), the majority of fields is still English. Even the FPM roadmap and most of the buttons.
Do we need to translate all of these texts via the Object Text Repository (sotr_edit) or did SAP translate all into Chinese and do we miss a step in activating the Chinese language?
I hope anyone of you can give guidance on this.

Use an Existing Proxy Class in ESS Launchpad
Good morning,
We are on ECC 6, Ehp 6, Netweaver 7.4.
We are moving our homepage framework area pages to the Launchpad. In our current "my Team" area page in the homepage framework we are launching this link (which is an iview) "Approve Current Period Biweekly Timecards 04/04/2016-04/17/2016. The dates in this link are created using a Proxy Class in the homepage framework Service.
In the Launchpad I created an application for "Approve Current Period Biweekly Timcards" and I added the Proxy Class to the Advanced Parameters section (Proxy is ZCL_IM_TIMECARD_LAUNCHER), but I don't know how to make this work.
In the standard "New Hire Enrollment" application in the SAP delivered Launchpad, they use "Enroll for your benefits during &ENPER&" which dynamically displays the current enrollment period, but they are not using a Proxy Class.
Any help or guidance with this is much appreciated. I can send a PDF document with screenshots of the above items if that helps.

No Agent found in custom copy for Workflow WS33700137
Hi Experts,
Need your view on the subject line issue.
We are implementing HR Renewal 2.0.
We have a requirement wherein multiple level of approval are required for Leave Approval.
We have populated multiple approver names using the method GET_MULTIPLE_APPROVER of bADI PT_ABS_REQ and same in visible on SAPUI5 application.
For workflow, we have copied the standard template WS33700137, and have given the reference of same inside SPRO ( Employee Self Service "SAPUI5" --> Leave Configuration ).
Now in our SAPUI5 Leave Request application when we click on SEND button, Workflow is getting trigger and workflow id is also getting created, but it is NOT ABLE TO FIND THE AGENT.
We are not implementing the bADI PT_GEN_REQ and relying on fall back class "CL_DEF_IM_PT_GEN_REQ".
Appreciate everyone views on this.

HR Renewal + SAP Fiori - Unified platform (HR Renewal + SAP Fiori).
Good morning Everyone,
TGIF! We are in a situation, where we would like to create an unified Launchpad. I have gone through the link below "Q&A with Jeremy Masters"
, and it seems like it is possible, but I don't know how? HR Renewal and Fiori are complimentary, and they don’t intend for customers to choose one or the other. We could use Fiori apps for things like leave requests and timesheets (and do this on mobile devices), and still use HR Renewal for other HR/Non-HR functions and features. We like to have cake and eat it too.
Could someone share the knowledge with us, and possible steps to create an unified launchpad. i.e. (HR Renewal + SAP Fiori).
Also, We have couple of questions -
Q - SAP Fiori rolled-out 9 HCM Apps so far, and around 500+ for other non-HR modules. What is this trend telling HR customers?
Q - Webdynpro ABAP based services are not supported via Fiori launchpad. If it is true, we have to do dual development ( means for each Webdynpro for ABAP services, we may need to build UI5) - How UX360 add value here ....
Q. What are the Pro`s and Con`s for Unified platform?
Q: What will be the landscape architecture?
We have SAP Gateway/ Deploy SAP Fiori Add-ons to ECC/ Gateway Sandbox. Planning to Deploy HR-Renewal 2.0.
Q : Where will be the unified launchpad will exist? in SAP Gateway or ECC. BTW we have implanted SAP Gateway Hub Architecture.

Q: Is it possible to use the UI5 applications available in the SAP Fiori in the new HR Renewal landing page? Let me give an example: We do have Timesheet application developed in UI5 in SAP Fiori wave1. However we do not have anything on the UI5 front in ESS or HR Renewal. So can we utilize the SAP Fiori application in HR Renewal, as both the systems do use the Gateway and Odata concept?

Reimbursement WDA Application Error
ESS Leave Request: Rabax error
Dear Gurus,
we use ESS Leave Request in NWBC.
After importing support packages we can't create a leave request and the following error appears:
500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: The current application has triggered a termination with a short dump. (termination RABAX_STATE).
This error did not appear before the import of the support packages and the ESS leave request scenario was working fine before the import.
Please help me the soonest possible.

E-Seperation Error - ‘Select a request to perform the required action’

I am facing a strange error in E-separation. As the process goes once Employee has saved his/her E-separation request it reaches HR and Reporting Manager.
I have add entries in LPD_CUST as mentioned below:
1. HR Overview:
Application - HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR
Configuration - HR_EA_AC_OVERVIEW_HR
2. RM Overview:
Application - HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_RM
Configuration - HR_EA_AC_OVERVIEW_RM
I am able to open the HR Overview and RM Applications on Portal and can see the request in both of the applications however when I am trying to edit the request to assign counsellor it gives me an error ‘Select a request to perform the required action’
The strange part is that when I try to open the application through SE80 I am able to edit the request and assign Counsellors.
Please help on the same!

External Candidate Registration - ERecruitment
Hi Team,
We have an issue in External Candidate registration process. After, the external candidate registration got completed, the user id to be created in the backend is not happening.
Thus, the candidate is not able to login with the user id he has provided while registration.
But the details are available in the Talent Pool regarding the candidate.
Please through some light on how system actually creates an User in the backend when an external candidate registers.

HCM Processes and forms error Change before earliest retro. date
We are using the HCM FPM based Processes and Forms. When we try to initate the process in QAS system we are getting error message.
Change before earliest retro. date XX.XX.XXXX acc. to control rec. to py area XX
So, we try to run the report RPUFIXDS for one employee in test mode we check.
It show IT0009 as inconsistency, and when we run direct to fix inconsistency still it shows the same error message.
We set the blank Earl.pers. RA date in IT0003 and try to copy the it 9 record put the begda as current year and tried. Still it's giving same error.
Also Referred the OSS 1125041 - Error message RP456 when Infotype 0009 is deleted via ESS
1827050 - RPUFIXDS: only one COMMIT WORK is performed
since these forms are implementing for molga 40.
Do we required to maintain the switch CCURE/PC_UI is set to 'X' in the table T77S0 as per oss 1125041 ?
Any entry we need to maintain table V_T7CCE_GPASG ?

E-Separation Approval process missing configuration
Hi Mentors,
Kindly help me here! I have gone through many SCN posts however was not able to find the exact solution as proper E- separation Approval process is not been mentioned.
I maintained entries in table V_T77WWW_EAREL and V_T77WWW_EAALC as mentioned in the screen shot and also have executed the report HINUEATP twice.
The problem is Separation request status gets changed from ‘Initiated’ to ‘In process’ and when I log in to HR Overview and RM Overview applications I am able to assign the counsellor.
However, the request is not moving to RM Approval Application so that the Approver can Approve the separation request.
I have also made General task in workflows WS77900165 (Approver) and WS77900166 (Counsellor) but still the request is not getting displayed in Reporting Manager Approval application.
Kindly help in knowing what steps am I missing!

NWBC: Appraisal document can't be printed in ESS/MSS
Hi Gurus,
we use ESS/MSS on NWBC. Our problem is that appraisee and appraiser can't print the appraisal document in
ESS/MSS (a blank page is displayed).
This problem does not exist in R/3, appraisee and appraiser can print the appraisal document in R/3.
Please help me the soonest possible.
